Events for August 1, 2024

Come join the Black Hawk County Roadside Manager, Griffin Cabalka, as we visit roadside plantings established and maintained by the Black Hawk County Secondary Roads Department. We will be visiting sites and learning how roadside managers use a variety of methods to better manage Black Hawk County's Right-of-Ways.

Join us in celebrating the closing of the Central Iowa Planting Our Future Campaign with a cocktail reception hosted by Harry and Myron Stine at the Stine Barn in West Des Moines, Iowa!
