Story County Stewards of the Beautiful Land: Summer Prairie Walk

Join Dr. Tom Rosburg for a prairie walk at Doolittle Prairie, Story County’s largest prairie remnant. See what is blooming this month compared to last month, and learn more about the history and ecology of central Iowa’s prairies. We will practice a little prairie plant ID.

This walk is free to attend, we will be walking in the prairie therefore wear long pants, long sleeved shirt, close toed shoes are recommended…..and don’t forget the bug spray.
