Trees Forever Miscellaneous Funding for Trees and Plants – Granting a Better Tomorrow
Thanks to our many donors who contribute to the Trees Forever endowment, we are providing funds for projects for the from Trees Forever Foundation income. Grants are available with an emphasis on youth and underserved schools and communities.
Additional Requirements and Information
Granting a Better Tomorrow funds are for planting and educational projects, including tree planting, seedling giveaways, pollinator (trees & plants) plantings, rain gardens with trees, educational classroom projects, club or church projects, fruit and nut orchards, school memorials, cemetery plantings and disaster recovery projects. If you need help with your project, our staff can help your group plan and complete a successful long-lasting project.
Applications are evaluated on the basis of project merit, benefit to community and ability to obtain matching funds.

Application Deadline
February 1 for spring plantings and July 1 for fall plantings.
Award Announcement
Applicants are notified in mid-March and mid-August if they have received an award, and if so, the dollar amount of the award.

Trees Forever Miscellaneous Funding for Trees and Plants – The Green Initiative
Trees Forever, with partners at GreenState Credit Union and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, are encouraging you to do something big by planting little trees! Apply today for this seedling tree initiative. Seedlings are a great way to plant a lot of trees into a community to help grow the urban forest.
Additional Requirements and Information
Projects may include planting seedling trees and woody shrubs in public spaces. Seedling distributions also qualify. Grants are available to groups, organizations, schools or government entities.

Volunteer plantings
Back to school giveaways

Trees Forever staff is available to help project leaders and volunteers plan and complete a successful project.
