Interactive Tree Planting Map
Check out our updated tree planting progress using this interactive map below! Trees Forever partners with many companies and organizations to execute their plantings, including the City of Cedar Rapids, the City of Des Moines, and Alliant Energy. We also have a plethora of internal programs that assist with our tree plantings, such as our Growing Futures teen employment program and our newly piloted Campus Canopy 10+ program!
We use TreePlotter software to map our planting progress. This map displays all of the tree plantings that Trees Forever is currently involved in, in both Illinois and Iowa. Simply click on a yellow pin denoting a planting project to display when the planting occurred, with which program the planting is affiliated with, and the total quantity of trees planted, as well as the quantity of individual tree species planted. Navigation of tree plantings by ‘All Trees’ or ‘Projects’ is available on the right-hand panel of the interactive map.
