ICC Tree Planting Grants

Thank you for helping Plant a Better Tomorrow through an Illinois Community Canopy tree planting grant. After your planting is completed, please complete the reporting information below.

Step 2: Gather Materials

You’ll need an updated site plan showing where the trees were planted, all invoices, and 2-3 photos of your planting event.

Project Summary

Example: 3 volunteers X 4 hours each = 12 hours
Please summarize your planting event(s) highlights, energy efficiency benefits of your tree planting, and impact of the new trees in your planting location and community.
Tell us how volunteers and the community got involved at your planting event.
Please describe the effect this project will have on disadvantaged communities and how they will benefit.
Have there been any changes to your care and maintenance plan since you submitted your partnership agreement? If so, please specify.
Match is not required for this grant, but if your community received monetary donations or supplies please list them here. Please itemize quantities and value for each item donated.
