Carroll County Stewards of the Beautiful Land: Tree Planting

September is a great month to plant trees. Join Carroll County Conservation and Trees Forever for a tree planting event at Swan Lake State Park starting at 5:30.  We’ll learn proper tree planting techniques and take a walk in the woods to see some of the fall color in the woods and prairie.  This will be a great chance to learn about REAP assemblies in October and how you can advocate for healthy native landscapes.
