TreeKeepers – Illinois Tree I.D. Walk

Join Trees Forever for a tree identification walk through Singing Woods on Thursday, October 24th at 11:00am. We will meet outside the Tawny Oaks Visitor Center. On the walk we’ll use leaves, bark, tree form, buds and other techniques to identify the diverse mix of species present in the preserve. Now is a perfect time to come out and learn while experiencing the beautiful fall color change! Please note: facilities are closed for the season and we will be outdoors for the entire time. Please dress for the weather.
