Tree Voucher Program

Trees Forever will be providing tree vouchers for the residents of Cedar Rapids! In order to receive a voucher, you must fill out the registration form and attend an informational meeting. The information session will provide you with the resources to help you plant and care for your tree. A limited number of vouchers will be distributed at a first come, first served basis.

  • Session 1: Wednesday, November 9th, 2022 at 5:30 PM at the Ladd Library (3750 Williams Blvd. SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404)
  • Session 2: Friday, November 11th, 2022 at 5:30 PM at the Downtown Library (450 5th Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401)
  • Session 3: Sunday, November 13th, 2022 at 1:30 PM at the NW Recreation Center (1340 11th St. NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405)

Voucher Info Session Registration

If you register 24 hours before the info session, you will receive your voucher at the end of the session. If you show up at the session and register at that time, your voucher will be mailed to you.

Vouchers can be redeemed at the following local nurseries:

  • Fleming Nursery (7900 Peterman Ln., Cedar Rapids, IA 52411)
  • Next Generation Landscape Nursery (831 Vernon Valley Dr. SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403)
  • Culver’s Lawn & Landscape (1682 Dubuque Rd., Marion, IA 52302)
  • Cedar River Garden Center (2889 Palo Marsh Rd., Palo, IA 52324) 
  •  Baumhoefener Nursery (4241 Johnson Ave. NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405)

Qualifications & Exclusions:

  • You must be a resident of Cedar Rapids to qualify for a voucher.
  • Eligibility for $100 or $250 voucher is based on the participant’s home address and is consistent with the ReLeaf plan.
  • Vouchers are only valid to purchase a tree that is on the ReLeaf Master Tree List.
  • Vouchers are valid until May 31, 2023.
  • The voucher is limited to a one time use and one per household.
  • Vouchers have no cash value outside the purchase of your tree(s).
  • Trees purchased through this program must be planted in the homeowner’s private yard.
  • This program is first come, first served. While supplies last.
