Want to learn more about urban agroforestry? How about building your knowledge and skills identifying and controlling unwanted vegetation? Have you ever thought about a windbreak or an edible food forest? Director of Community Programs Jeff Jensen will present on the following topics:
- Urban Agroforestry practices like food forests and windbreaks
- Windbreak design and considerations
- Invasive species identification and management techniques
The second half of the field day is hands-on removal (for those that want to participate) of undesirable woody species and then treating the stems; tools provided!
