Trees and Forests Day at the Capitol
with Iowa Environmental Advocacy Day

Advocate for our environment at the Iowa Capitol!
Trees and Forests Day at the Iowa Capitol is occurring on Monday, February 26, 2024! Join us during Iowa Environmental Advocacy Day to inform our elected state officials and promote the issues that mean the most to you and our state’s environment.
Representatives from the Coalition for Iowa’s Woodlands and Trees, Trees Forever, and the Iowa Environmental Council will help guide attendees as we discuss relevant bills and issues with our lawmakers. Find us in the rotunda from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This year, the Iowa Environmental Council is hosting a virtual Legislative Update and Advocacy Training session on February 23 from 11am-12pm. At the Legislative Update and Advocacy Training, IEC staff will provide an update on environmental activity at the Capitol and lead a training on easy ways to take action. This virtual event is free and open to anyone interested in learning more.
