Harrison County Stewards of the Beautiful Land: Prairie Establishment, Maintenance, & ID

Prairie Management is the topic for this field day in Harrison County starting at 6:00 pm at the Willow Lake Nature Center located at 2725 Easton Trail, Woodbine IA 51579. The field day will cover prairie establishment, species selection, site preparation, and both short-term and long-term management. We will also spend time identifying species of importance. If conditions allow, we will conduct a controlled prairie burn. This is your chance to learn from Field Coordinator, Brad Riphagen and Harrison County Weed Commissioner, Thad Pothast.
