Folks at Faulkes – Garlic Mustard and Japanese Barberry Control Workshop

Faulkes Heritage Woods, comprising of 110 acres along Indian Creek, is home to 300+ plant species, a 1.5 mile walking trail, and vital wildlife habitats. Volunteers are needed to help remove and treat invasive Garlic Mustard and Japanese Barberry. The eradication of these species will help native plants flourish in this outdoor gem of Linn County. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting beat up. Bring work gloves (limited supply will be available on site) and water. We will begin with a short hike to help with identification and removal methods.
