Carroll County Stewards of the Beautiful Land: Prairie Species ID and Management Techniques

The prairie is starting to explode with color as more and more forbs are flowering.  Come for a leisurely stroll through the prairie testing your skills on prairie plant ID and learn about management techniques to keep the invasive species back and provide top-notch pollinator habitat for all the different insects that make the prairie home.  We will meet at the Great Western Park near Manning at 5:30 for some refreshments before heading out to the prairie for an adventure.
