Black Hawk County Stewards of the Beautiful Land: Big Woods Lake Planting

Are you wondering about fall plantings and how to prepare your yard for the coming winter? Well wonder no longer, Park Ranger Ben Rindles will be joining us at Big Woods Lake on October 9th from 1:00-2:30. We will learn the best practices for planting natives in the fall and for preparing natives in our yards for winter.
Meet at the Big Woods Lake welcome kiosks and campgrounds, parking will be available. Be sure to bring gloves and water!
