Thank you to our Partners!

Your opportunity to adopt high-quality trees at no cost has been made possible by our partners, whose kind support has offset the price of your tree!

Terms and Conditions

Reserved trees must be picked up between 9:00 a.m. and Noon during your selected timeslot. Trees not picked up by the Noon deadline will be forfeited and redistributed. Tree species are subject to change: If your selected tree is not delivered from the supplier, it may be substituted for another species.

By adopting a tree, you agree to plant it at your Linn County residence within one week of pickup. You must check with your local municipality if you are planning on planting in your sidewalk right-of-way. You also agree to provide the tree with continued care to the best of your ability. Need guidance? Download our step-by-step planting guide. Make sure to plant the right tree in the right place – check out our info here! Always call before you dig, contact Iowa One Call.

Trees Forever’s Mission:

Our mission – to plant and care for trees and the environment by empowering people, building community, and promoting stewardship – is fulfilled through cutting-edge programs and innovative practices. Through these, our trained and experienced staff has assisted community leaders and landowners across Iowa and Illinois with thousands of planting projects.  Each year, on average, we work with and engage more than 7000 volunteers who give generously of their time and talents.  To date, they have helped us plant more than 3 million trees and shrubs throughout Iowa and Illinois.
