Since 1996\, the Community Visioning program has collaborated with more than 260 Iowa towns to create thoughtful\, innovative solutions that build on the values and pride of the people who live\, work\, and play there. Come see the visions for our 2025 communities and learn tactics for how you might try go green in your town. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDescription of the Day\n\n\n\nThe day will feature panel discussions\, interactive workshops\, an exhibitor fair\, and also a FREE Grant Writing 101 session. Don’t miss your chance to network with representatives from a variety of organizations and communities and also learn the ins and outs of writing successful grant proposals! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nPanel and Roundtable Discussion\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nTour of Community Boards\n\n\n\nGet inspired by the 2025 Community Visioning towns’ creative concepts. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nLuncheon\, Keynote\, and Partner Recognition\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nExhibitor Fair\n\n\n\nMeet representatives from businesses with the knowledge and expertise to help you complete a community project\, whether you need design services\, signage\, lighting\, or other amenities. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfternoon Mini-Workshops\n\n\n\nOur morning panelists will lead placemaking activities and present examples to get your creative juices flowing. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nGrant Writing 101\n\n\n\nLearn tips and tricks for writing an effective grant application from ISU specialists. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNew Community Orientation\n\n\n\nThe 2026 Community Visioning towns will dive into the process by learning about the components that make up the local transportation system and by applying their local knowledge through a mapping exercise focused on their community. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration is now closed
