SUMMARY:Nuts & Berries Farm Crawl
DESCRIPTION:We all have a role to play in accelerating agroforestry in Iowa.  We need farmers growing these specialty crops\, we need processors turning them into value added products\, and we need you – the public\, to consume agroforestry products.  Support agroforestry and Join Trees Forever for an agroforestry farm crawl featuring three agroforestry sites and products like honeyberry\, chestnuts\, paw paw\, lumber and more.    \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur first stop will be Little Deb’s Berry Farm near Newhall where hosts Jeff and Debbie Sindelar are growing several varieties of honeyberry and experimenting with kiwiberry\, an emerging new crop.  The honeyberries will be ripe and ready for sampling. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur second stop is Olivia’s Orchard\, an integrated agroforestry farm near Parnell featuring chestnuts\, paw paw\, and more.  Host Elana Gingerich will welcome the group for a tour of her “little slice of heaven” and discuss the various crops growing.  Attendees and expect some paw paw taste testing…YUM! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur day will wrap up with a stop at Koffron Hardwood Sawmill south of Tiffin.  Paul Koffron produces beautiful wood with his small-scale mill and even takes in “rescue” logs for repurposing.  This tour is fascinating to see how logs are turned into beautiful lumber. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration is $40 and covers lunch\, refreshments\, and materials.  This event will take place rain or shine. Registration closes Wednesday\, June 3rd at 9AM. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFarm Crawl AgendaDownload\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease register below\n\n\n\nRegistration is now closed. Thank you for your interest.

DESCRIPTION:Each year we invite friends and family to gather with us to remember and celebrate their loved ones. The day includes a reception with a brief program followed by the planting of new trees into the Trees Forever Memorial Grove. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe encourage you to bring a note written to your loved one to place in the soil before we plant. As we think of the future and new life planted\, we’ll take a moment to reflect and thank those who’ve created this legacy. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFeel free to invite friends and family to this celebration of life. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease register below\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n \n Enter Email\n \n \n \n Confirm Email\n \n \n Company or Organization (if applicable)Address(Required) \n \n \n \n Street Address\n \n \n Address Line 2\n \n \n City\n \n \n State\n \n \n ZIP / Postal Code\n \n \n County(Required)AdairAdamsAlexanderAllamakeeAppanooseAshlandAudubonBarronBayfieldBentonBlack HawkBondBooneBremerBrownBuchananBuena VistaBuffaloBureauBurnettButlerCalhounCalumetCarrollCassCedarCerro GordoChampaignCherokeeChickasawChippewaChristianClarkClarkeClayClaytonClintonColesColumbiaCookCrawfordCumberlandDallasDaneDavisDecaturDeKalbDelawareDes MoinesDeWittDickinsonDodgeDoorDouglasDubuqueDunnDuPageEau ClaireEdgarEdwardsEffinghamEmmetFayetteFlorenceFloydFond du LacFordForestFranklinFremontFultonGallatinGrantGreenGreeneGreen LakeGrundyGuthrieHamiltonHancockHardinHarrisonHendersonHenryHowardHumboldtIdaIowaIronIroquoisJacksonJasperJeffersonJerseyJo DaviessJohnsonJonesJuneauKaneKankakeeKendallKenoshaKeokukKewauneeKnoxKossuthLa CrosseLafayetteLakeLangladeLaSalleLawrenceLeeLincolnLinnLivingstonLoganLouisaLucasLyonMaconMacoupinMadisonMahaskaManitowocMarathonMarinetteMarionMarquetteMarshallMasonMassacMcDonoughMcHenryMcLeanMenardMenomineeMercerMillsMilwaukeeMitchellMononaMonroeMontgomeryMorganMoultrieMuscatineO'BrienOcontoOgleOneidaOsceolaOutagamieOzaukeePagePalo AltoPeoriaPepinPerryPiattPikePlymouthPocahontasPolkPopePortagePottawattamiePoweshiekPricePulaskiPutnamRacineRandolphRichlandRinggoldRockRock IslandRuskSacSaint ClairSalineSangamonSaukSawyerSchuylerScottShawanoSheboyganShelbySiouxSt. ClairSt. CroixStarkStephensonStoryTamaTaylorTazewellTrempealeauUnionVan BurenVermilionVernonVilasWabashWalworthWapelloWarrenWashburnWashingtonWaukeshaWaupacaWausharaWayneWebsterWhiteWhitesideWillWilliamsonWinnebagoWinneshiekWoodWoodburyWoodfordWorthWrightOther\n Submit \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Δ

SUMMARY:Tree Distribution Volunteers Needed
DESCRIPTION:We need your help to make the spring tree distribution a success! There are three volunteer roles available: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRunners: Runners greet cars as they arrive to the check-in area\, ask for full name and relay name to check-in personnel. The check-in volunteers will pull pre-printed orders and give then to the runners. Runners will walk with the car and relay the orders to the loaders which trees are needed. Runners will then go back to check-in area and start process over. This volunteer role does the most walking. \n\n\n\nTraffic Control: These volunteers will direct traffic at key areas and turns to help keep a steady pace. They will help alert staff if traffic gets backed up and when adjustments are needed. Trees Forever will provide these volunteers with site maps and safety vests. \n\n\n\nLoaders: Loaders will be stationed near specific tree species and help load trees into vehicles when they pull up. Trees can weigh up to 40lbs. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease register below:
