DESCRIPTION:Advanced registration is not required\, but is appreciated to help us plan hot beverages. Send an email to ppfister47@gmail.com to register. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nIf you have hand pruners\, loppers\, and/or pruning saws\, please bring them. We will provide disinfectant to sanitize your equipment. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThis is a “hands-on” workshop\, but you are welcome to come and just observe. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWe will provide an overview of the pruning process\, and then specific instruction as various pruning situations are encountered. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThe objective is to provide training for general pruning guidelines\, and help address issues that you may encounter in your home orchard.

DESCRIPTION:Join Trees Forever on Saturday\, March 8 at 10:00am at Faulkes Heritage Woodland in Marion for a woodland invasive species workshop. After a brief tour of this hidden gem and instruction on removal and eradication tactics we’ll be getting our hands dirty removing Japanese barberry throughout the property. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeet at the Faulkes Heritage Woods trailhead located at 3220 Tama St SE\, Cedar Rapids\, IA 52403. Come prepared to work outdoors! A limited number of heavy-duty gloves and loppers/pruners will be available but please bring your own if possible.
